CIMA-Helicon-Westgate

Creating the event of the year for CIMA

?CIMA recently moved into new offices, The Helicon, a bright new hi-tech building at the heart of the global business community in the City of London; reflecting just how CIMA wants to be perceived in the world of business.

We created a memorable event to celebrate CIMA’s prestigious new location. ?Based on an existing theme of 'CIMA in the City', we developed this into the hashtag #citification, which was used before and during the event to create online engagement.

All our graphics used a city theme, complemented with actors dressed in slick city attire wearing bowler hats to reinforce the overall creative theme. At the centre of the event was the unveiling of CIMAs Royal Charter, beautifully framed and presented to form part of a permanent exhibit going forward. The feedback from the client and guests after the event was excellent.

 

DFDS-Westgate

Climbing high on a DFDS Seaways ferry for Children In Need

DFDS Seaways is an award winning shipping company with freight and passenger services operating across Northern Europe.

We created a special, one of a kind event for DFDS Seaways to raise money for Children In Need. Working with the climbing company, Roxcool, we organised for a bespoke 25 metre climbing wall to be attached to the side of one of the biggest cruise ferries, King Seaways. We then staged a charity climb up the side of the ferry – and Westgate team members took part too!

We brought in over 30 climbers for this charity event along with local BBC presenter Jeff Brown, the Mayor and MP Nick Brown.

The event proved a huge success and generated five appearances on local and national TV but the best result was that the event raised much needed funds for this important charity.

 

Superdrug-Westgate

Store opening launch events for Superdrug

Superdrug is the one of the UK's leading health and beauty retailers, with 850 stores across the UK and Ireland.

We manage the launch events of Superdrug's regional new store openings. Our event management strategy focuses on positioning Superdrug as an accessible but creditable healthy and beauty brand and optimising the customer experience.

For recent store openings, we developed a campaign theme of 'Get ready to take another look' which was used to give a 'beauty festival' feel to promote each new store opening. We created a host of exciting customer experiences before, during and after each launch day. Launch event activities include creating concept giveaways (cookies in the shape of lips,) planning and implementing guerrilla advertising and ad bike promotions, staging performances with a high energy dance troupe and organising local media photo calls and PR.

Each store opening has been highly successful, with significant increases in customer footfall as a result of each launch event activity.
